P-39 MARINE RADIUS PUTTY was developed for use as a brushable filler for use behind the gel-coat after it has been applied to the mold. Radius Putty is a low-exotherm, thixotropic fiberglass filled system which fills in details and bridges the areas that previously have caused "egg-shell" in the gel-coat after the fiberglass has been applied and rolled out. The 20 - 30 minute work life and low-exotherm cure do not create alligatoring or gathering of the gel-coated surface after cure
Features:
- Two component polyester, fiber filled non-sag neutral color paste
- 20-30 Minute Work Life
- Neutral Color
A brushable, fiber filled thixotropic polyester filler used behind the gel coat to prevent bridging of fiberglass fabric in sharp radius details and “egg-shelling” of the gel coat. It is a low exotherm, fiberglass filled, toughened putty system that has excellent secondary bonding properties with succeeding polyester laminates; no sanding required.
Applications: Used behind the gel coat to prevent bridging of fiberglass fabric in sharp radius details and “egg-shelling” of the gel coat.
